Afraid Of Prospecting? Don’t Be…

Some of us feels that prospecting is difficult and cringe when we hear from our uplines that we must do prospecting. Fear of rejection always comes to mind.Well is it really that scary? 

While  browsing through John Fogg’s blog, one post on prospecting caught my eye. The article posted was from Tony Rush.He talks about the mindset one should have in prospecting and simplicity of the whole prospecting process. After reading that article, now I have a story that I can share with my associates on how simple prospecting really is and ‘instill’ the proper prospecting mindset. Here is the snippet of that post :

[....]…”calling a prospect” is a difficult thing that should be postponed or avoided. I don’t understand that mindset, but that’s just me. Maybe it’s the way they’re doing it. I just know I’m not doing anything on my prospecting calls that cannot be learned and duplicated by any serious person in a day or two. In fact, here’s something that I think illustrates how SIMPLE and EASY it is to develop the right mindset for calling prospects.[...]
