Are You An MLM Whore?

I admit, this is a rather strong title, but purposely so. While surfing this site for some inspiration I came across Khai’s post about Jumping Ship from One MLM to the Next. The post reminded me of my own experience in MLM and meeting many people that actually were MLM whores.
To me an MLM whore is a person that joins just about anything that promises instant riches. The moment they are stuck in their current company and something else comes along that sounds better they are whoring themselves out to this new company.
whore: "engaging into sexual pleasure for money"
While I admit there isn’t an ounce of sexiness in MLM, we still give up our integrity for the hunt of riches, so the term whore is quite adequate.
Whatever happened to fidelity.
Personally I avoided to go down that road. I stayed faithfully with my first MLM for 2.5 years until I saw there was no point to continue. Only then did I change to another and not for long. I had to learn the hard way that I wasn’t cut out to be in the field and that after all it wasn’t me.
But what about you?
Are you showing the signs of being an MLM whore, or do you stay faithful to your company until death does you apart? What are your thoughts on this? Is it perhaps possible that we have forgotten to stick with a business until… or are we yet so eager to get rich in 5 minutes?
