Avon is Going Health Crazy

Avon has been granted to manufacture and sell health care products in China. Being one of few direct selling companies to actually trade in China, they realize the importance of getting permission to manufacture new health products in Guangzhou. The production is set to start in the first quarter of 2008 and is intended to give the nationwide Avon sales force better scope in being competitive with other company distributors.
To date Avon has a stronghold of some 74 branches China wide and a total of 622,148 sales professionals who have come to trust and love the Avon brand.
Expanding into health care in China will give Avon a better edge to keep in the race.
Mainland China lifted a seven year ban on door to door sales back in 2005 and to date only a few direct sales companies have been granted permission to trade in China.
