Blogging for MLM

In the past I was writing about on how beneficial it can be to your MLM business if you build a blog instead of using the mass produced generic website you are given when you sign up. The benefits are endless really. They start from:
- better search engine rankings
- higher changes at converting visitors into leads
- opportunity to write your own keyword rich articles
- more credibility the better your rankings are
- building an established blog site that will be an authority if you update it often and well
Blogging for MLM is already done by millions of distributors out there. Instead of being a slave to some pre-established site you can become your own master and be in control of the content on your blog.
Because you are different you will be standing out from the others who are all the same. But to stand out you will learn how to rank well in the search engines and this starts by getting a domain name that already contains the keyword you are targeting.
In normal circumstances this would entail to have your main keyword which would be your company’s name. But in MLM or other company related businesses we need to be careful because of copyright issues.
You cannot buy an URL that contains the word Amway or Herbalife or whatever company you are with. If you do you will risk prosecution because you are using a trademark name (most companies are trademarked) in your title.
But not all is lost, instead you can try to find one that has the word MLM, Direct Selling, Network Marketing or similar in it. It will help you with the SERPS and if used correctly in conjunction with your posts, you can end up ranking quite high for your search term.
