Blogging Your MLM Business

Are you amongst the millions of unsuccessful MLM marketers in the world? If your answer is yes and you wonder, why you are not successful at all, then you might want to take a look at your pre-fabricated affiliate page your MLM company gave you when you signed up. Fact is, that these sites are pretty much useless! There are simply too many of the same and this is like a red flag for the search engines. They don’t like duplicate content. And guess what? Your pre-fab affiliate site is just that. So what can you do to turn this into an advantage to your MLM business? The answer is to start your own blog about your MLM business.
Setting up a blog these days is so easy with the multitude of free blogging platforms available to us. All you need to do is to choose which platform you prefer. Choices such as Blogger and WordPress are probably the best. With WordPress you need to choose the self hosted version on your own domain. The reason being that by using the free WordPress blogging platform, you risk being shut down if you advertise any affiliate links.
Once you got your blog set up, start to write an informative introduction page about your MLM business opportunity. Be careful to stick with the company’s advertising laws. Many don’t allow you to use the company’s name. To circumnavigate this legally just create some sort of splash page where you funnel prospects into your own advertising stream. By doing this, you allow yourself to build a list of able prospects that are owned by yourself, and not by your MLM. If you don’t do this, the possibility of loosing all your lists if you were ever to leave a company is frightening. To build a half decent list of business prospects can cost you much time and a lot of money in advertising. Owning your list will allow you to keep marketing to those people long after you left the building. By blogging about your MLM business you can be light years ahead of your competition.
