Convert More Sales

Conversion is what puts money into our pockets. It’s a fact that without sales we won’t earn! We make sales by converting prospects into customers and later hopefully into distributors. But in a world that is increasingly more focused on speed we often tend to forget good old fashioned customer service.

This means that in the bottom line we often miss out on some serious up-sell opportunities.

I am personally always impressed when I get more out of a deal where I’m a customer. Whether that is in form of a freebie, and extra product like two for one or a nice little voucher, I always get a nice fuzzy feeling when this happens to me.

For example the other day I went to fuel up my scooter at one of the local service stations. My scooter is probably the most cost effective vehicle in terms of saving on huge fuel costs and whenever I fuel up, I only spend around $2- $3 anyway. Which is ridiculous really. (And that’s for driving about 75 km)

It’s not that I didn’t have the money in my valet, but I had taken the cash into my hand and whilst handing it over to the service station owner I realized I was short. His reply was "don’t worry, I got you covered".

As easy as that!

I offered to cram out the rest of the money from my valet but he simply waved me off with a friendly nudge.

This is exactly what I’m talking about. Give your customers something unexpected for free and they will eat out of your hand and come back for more.

Guess where I’m going to fuel up my scooter next time?
