The beauty of being in MLM is that we can work from home. Regardless whether you start of part time, or go the full Monty, you will need a dedicated office space.
You simply cannot focus on work and business building strategies if you think about the sink full of dishes, the laundry or your kids. Having a dedicated home office will transfer your mind into business gear the instant you walk into it and you can allow yourself to shut out the world beyond.
At least that’s what we are hoping to achieve.
To make live easier for us and get your office into ship shape here are some ideas you can use.
You will need some furniture and other things to kit out the office in style. Regardless of your budget, you can create a calm but productive working environment which will invite you to stay.
- You will need a desk. Whether old or new, recycled kitchen table or a wooden board on boxes, a table is essential.
- Probably the most important part of your office is a comfortable office chair. Now here you cannot afford to scrimp. Go for the most luxurious and comfortable chair you can find. Your back will love you for it.
- Telephone, Internet connection, fax machine, computer, printer, credit card charging facility are all needed for a decent office set up.
- Shelves, if you need to carry stock, then you need some sort of shelf to carry stock.
- Files, filing systems are a great and inexpensive way to get organized.
- You also need good lighting. You don’t want to ruin your eyes because you strain them.
- Plants, radio anything that creates a nice atmosphere.
- Personal things like photos, mementos, color, candles and any knick-knack that keeps you happy.
There you go, these suggestions are the ideal base to get your office set up in style. Even if your allocated space is minimal you can create a nice enough area to work in.
Since you will be spending a lot of time in your home office, make it as good as you can with the space and the money you have.
