Do You Try, Or Do You Do?

I read a great inspirational post today from a fellow blogger by the name of Michael Lemm, who was writing about Yoda and how the little green man had it all figured out.
He goes on to show us some really cool experiments about cause on effects. As it figures, the word "try" hasn’t got any corresponding result and you will see why if you go and do the quick experiments.
Because the word try isn’t a cause, nothing will happen we we say let’s try to do this.
Funny enough, like Michael the words of Yoda struck a similar chord with me years ago when I watched the Star Wars movies. Ever since then I hesitate to say that I will try. Instead I choose to do.
It really puts a whole different dynamic to an exercise and gets more done.
I hate to think about all the energies I wasted in the past by trying to do things instead of just doing them. Often the cause was fear which made me want to try, even though I knew I never would.
It’s kind of like "I kid myself" experiment to try.
Great post and I strongly urge you to hop over to Michael’s blog and check it out.
Oh…and before I forget, don’t try…do!
