Don’t Do This To Anyone

While waiting for my orders at a burger stall tonight, I saw an headline in KOSMO (a tabloid Malaysian newspaper) that grabed my attention. The headline was (after translation): “Varsity Students Borrow Money From Loan Sharks To Fund Their MLM Business.”
Two students attest to the fact that they took a loan from the loan sharks. One did successfully recovered the money at a cost of his studies failing and the other one did not recoupe back the money because he was cheated by his upline.
When asked why they need to borrow from loan sharks? Because they had invested their education loan into the ‘MLM‘ deal in the past but they were not successful and because of their *greed* they were willing to borrow from the loan sharks to reinvest into their MLM ‘business’. The student who are stuck with the loan shark is now in trouble.
From the story, I can tell that these poor students, their uplines use FRONT LOADING as the modus of operandi for their business building strategy which is a BIG RED FLAG! There is a clause in the rules and regulation of the distributorship agreement which goes to the effect that a distributor should only buy products for his/her personal consumption and what he/she can sell.
Clearly these poor students did not read that – not a lot people do. And unfortunately their uplines were either ignorant of this fact or they are simply crooks.
Guns do not kill. Its the people with the gun that kills. Same with MLM. Its the unethical people that ruins the MLM industry.
