Do’s And Don’ts From CEO Of Amway (Thailand)

February 10, 2007 | By admin | No Comments »

In Bangkok’s Independent Newspaper, there’s a story on the CEO of Amway Thailand, Mr. Preecha Prakobkit. It talks about his background, his success in building up the company’s sales revenue and the challenges that he face and still facing with its distributors. What I want to highlight is the challenges he refers to and what we can learn from them….

[...]..Amway’s sales representatives often used aggressive tactics – mainly, says Preecha, because they held very strong beliefs about the company. This left Amway looking like a cult [...]

[...]..many Amway representatives chose not to directly reveal their purpose to target customers out of fear that they would lose potential business. [...]

And because of these, Amway in particular (and the MLM target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://gobala.linktrackr.com/attractionmarketing-mlmrkeywords">MLM industry in general) get a bad reputation. We can learn a lot of what not to do in our day to day business activities and what we should be doing…

“…….set goals in their lives and go for them; that Amway (also applies to all MLM programs – my words) is one of the means by which they can achieve their goals; and they (all network marketers – my words) should always remember to speak the truth,” Preecha says.

Lets clean-up our acts and transform our industry for the best.
