Gold Quest Pyramid Operator Arrested

Interesting how multi level marketing scheme operators can walk at ease when we all know they have been scamming thousands out of money. Well, luckily for us many get caught and so did Padma, the main organizer of the Gold Quest multi-level marketing scheme. She was arrested in front of Hotel Lee Royal Meridian, in Chennai city earlier this month.
Padma, who resided in the Aspiran Garden area of Kilpauk was the main brain behind the MLM target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://gobala.linktrackr.com/buildingonabudget-mlmrkeywords">MLM scheme in India and abroad. Her wrongdoing made her more than Rs 22 crore by way of commission from the company.
She had enrolled many members in India and abroad in the scheme and people got burned while losing a lot of money. When the news of the pyramid scheme were made public, Padma disappeared into the shadows, leaving behind many who wanted to see her arrested. The police also seized two luxury cars, including a BMW bearing registration number TN 10L-4456 and sale deeds for the purchase of a palatial house at Kilpauk for Rs 4 crore from her possession.
After the arrest, Padma was produced before the Fifth Metropolitan Magistrate, Egmore, and remanded in judicial custody. Further investigation is on its way.
