Hai-O Is growing Strong

PETALING JAYA: Hai-O Enterprise Bhd is growing its MLM branch by around 2,000 members every month. The company expects even more future growth within the next few months and is positive about their next quarter ending April 2008.
Hai-O’s chief financial officer, Hew Von Kin told StarBiz that this growth has helped generate 84% more net profit one year ago.
Share holders can also rejoice that the earnings per share (EPS) improved to 13.55 sen from 7.55 sen previously.
In the first half year of 2007 the MLM business of Hai-O contributed about 71% of total sales. With the opening of new outlets in Jusco Bukit Tinggi in Klang; Giant hypermarket Puchong and Carrefour Subang the company’s retail operations were also picking up pace..
Hai-O said it was confident that it would achieve its internal target of RM200mil in turnover in two years.
The company has declared an interim dividend of 8% per share.
