Herbalife Family Foundation is Hosting a Charity Match

image California has seen a huge amount of devastating wildfires recently which has left many people without a home. The Herbalife Family Foundation (HFF) has joined forces to host a special charity soccer match with the aid of the LA Galaxy and Hollywood United F.C.

Hollywood United will face The Galaxy at the Home Depot Center on California’s State University Campus on Sunday Nov 4th at 5 PM.

The match’s proceeds as well as all donations collected on the day of the game will go to the American Red Cross and The Salvation Army to aid in their efforts to assist those affected by the wildfires.

100% of the funds will be donated, thanks to the Herbalife Family Foundation’s support said Galaxy’s president and GM Alexi Lalas. He also stated that “through soccer, we have the ability to help those who have been impacted by this disaster.” image

Further funds will be raised by holding a silent auction at the stadium by the The Los Angeles Galaxy Foundation.

It is great to see that the bigger companies have this sort of helping power when tough times arrive. People are often skeptical on whether these foundations really deliver on what they state.

I suppose, this just goes to show that they can and do.

Good on them for trying to help those that had to suffer so badly.
