Invite Like a Pro

If you are looking to get a constant stream of ready to go hot prospects in your MLM, you will need to become a Pro-Inviter. In MLM there are two distinctive ways to invite others to have a look at our business.
Top Down – which is referred to showing prospects your business opportunity first and then following on by showing them your company’s products or service.
Bottom Up – refers to show people the product or service first.
The problem we face in this industry is the fact that many prospects just don’t get it when it comes to a presentation. For those of you who have talked to their bank manager before with the hopes of sponsoring him into your business you probably remember the look he gave you when you mentioned your MLM to him. “Oh yeah, that party plan business you are doing.” This alone is responsible for the high failure rate in MLM. People can’t bear to hear NO NO NO 99 times out of 100.
To turn this frustration around into your favor, you first need to put yourself into your prospects shoes. If we are talking to a sales person in a retail shop about how much money one can make in MLM target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://gobala.linktrackr.com/buildingonabudget-mlmrkeywords">MLM, this person will find it very hard to believe this. Because they are used to be paid a wage and holding money in their fingers, they will doubt the fact that millions can be made with a “little” work from home business.
Inviting like a Pro starts with knowing your prospects. Intuitively understanding, what drives the person we are speaking to, and meeting him/her at their level is a start. After all, we want leaders in our business – right?!
So how do we distinguish a leader from a tyre kicker if we don’t know the prospect?
Learn to look for tell tale signs of a strong character. The people you want as your team leaders need “Leaders Traits”:
- they need to be ready to act NOW
- business minded
- entrepreneurial
- have the ability to decide quickly
- goal orientated
- mental toughness against distractions and no sayers
- have an owner mentality
- high self esteem
What you don’t want to see in your team leaders are the following traits:
- non active/passive
- having an employee mentality
- are not ready to ACT
- a very low self esteem
- those easily influenced by others
- flurry
- looking for approval from others
As we learn to consciously invite people looking for these character traits we so desire, we will become a master communicator. The quicker you become a master a bedazzling others, the more a Pro you become at inviting and building a great team of energetic distributors.
