Kim Klaver Rocks The Boat

November 17, 2007 | By Monika Mundell | No Comments »

Kim Klaver has been blogged about quite extensively in recent times. She put out a very “in your face” post regarding some well know traditional MLM companies.

In her post Kim questions the “why” some of these companies seem to trade better figures outside the US? She speculates that it might be due to the fact that many Americans are fed up by all the lies of instant promises and easy riches by most of these companies.

Often it isn’t even the company’s fault. But regardless of this they do little to prevent individual distributors from making outrageous income claims. Naturally hardly anybody manages to earn decent money with MLM anyway.

So it clearly looks like Kim Klaver has ruffled a few feathers.

Kim states:

“And the old school solution hasn’t changed: bring on more “aggressive sales initiatives focused on distributor recruitment” (with promises of big financial success). Is that the best they can do?
Is there a lesson here for the rest of us?”

You know, I can sense frustration and despite this I totally understand Kim. After all the lack of proper marketing and the outdated recruiting methods in traditional MLM is what finally made me quit from it.

So when Kim says something like this many people do listen as she is a well know and respected marketer. Her blog is full of great resources regarding MLM and her books and podcasts are full of witty but spot on pointers regarding MLM.

I applaud her, even if she did come across a bit harsh to some. Not to me BTW. I fully agree with her views as I have come to see those concerns myself whilst being in MLM for 2.5 years. So take it from me, or take it from Kim, but don’t fall blind into any MLM before you have done your due research.
