MLM Success Tip: Get Things Done Smartly

How do you work your business? Do you take a, “I’ll catch it when I can” approach? Most of us have lives that are busy and complicated. Time management and prioritization skills are paramount not only to business success but for sheer survival in today’s world. With so many irons in the fire it is very easy to lose focus in terms of growing your business.
Fancy a challenge?
Here is a challenge for you. Pick a week in the near future. Find one that has a minimal amount of non business activities planned. Once you have that week selected do everything in your power to ensure that no non-business events get scheduled during that week. Do you see where this is heading? That’s right. You are going to take an entire week and focus all of your efforts into growing your business. The key here is focus. Laser sharp and unwavering.
Here are some tips for your Focus Week:
Let family and friends know that for this week you are not available for anything. You can tell them why, and in fact it’s a good idea to seek their encouragement. Take the time to draft clear and obtainable goals for the week.
Gather all of the statistics and information related to your standing at the beginning of the week so that you can measure the results at week’s end. As much as possible, try to schedule activities for each moment of the week. Stick to the schedule, but revise them as necessary to accommodate last minute changes.
Once this week is completed take a day or two to reflect on the experience. What kind of things did you learn about time management? How were the results from this week? Be sure and keep in mind that you may not see the visible fruits from your labors for days or even weeks.
By taking the time to really focus on your business you are giving it the best chance for growth. Now that the Focus Week is over, are there things that you will now do differently in your standard week?
