Chennai’s police commissioner is taking all steps necessary to get people a refund who got duped by the company Quest Net owned by MLM multi Gold Quest. Thousands of depositors lost their money when the company flew up at the beginning of May with thousands demonstrating in front of the police department in Chennai.

Commissioner G Nanchil Kumaran told reporters that the police were speeding up the process to arrest the company’s managing director Vijay Eswaran, who had reportedly fled to Malaysia. All in all the police received over 17,300 complaints against the company.

He said in all police had received 17,348 complaints against the firm. The money that has been invested by the company has apparently been put on hold.

There is also money tied up in other companies and investigations will reveal what will happen to either of them as well as the monies stolen under false premises from those seeing to better their lives.

He also said that the firm had invested in a couple of other financial institutions too.

So far police have arrested seven people, including general manager Pushpam and remanded them in judicial custody.
