Perspective On Whether MLM is ‘HARD’

February 6, 2007 | By admin | No Comments »

Have you ever felt that doing MLM is hard? At many times I had this thought. I looked like the guy in the picture above.

It seems often that we put too much of our emotions into our work. Emotions such as:

(1) My friends are not answering my calls

(2) My downlines are not growing or prospecting

(3) My prospect stood me up

And the list goes on and on while a sink deeper and deeper into depression. Sometimes losing your ‘strongest’ downline (when he or she decides to quit or jumps over to a different company) will make you feel as though it is the end of the world!

Yup… I felt like dying at one point.

But I was reading this article on Aaron Cook’s website where he talked about Tim Sales and HIS perspective on whether MLM is ‘hard’ and I had a really, really good laugh. But the lessons that I learnt from it made me remember those days which if I had read that article sooner, it would help me a lot that time.

Click here for the full article.

It basically talks about Tim’s experience in the U.S. Navy, and how HARD his job was compared to our daily rants and whinings about how hard MLM is. After reading that article, it made me feel that many of us (me included) sounded like MLM wussies and that put the true perspective on whether MLM is hard or not.
