Pitching Your MLM

February 13, 2007 | By admin | No Comments »

Mike Dillard mentioned in his boot camp that the reason people keep on pitching their MLM target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://gobala.linktrackr.com/buildingonabudget-mlmrkeywords">MLM to others, only to get a cold shoulder is because of our obsessive focus on getting the prospect to SIGN UP for our MLM.

He said:

“Nobody who bought a drill actually wanted a drill.
They wanted a hole.

Therefore, if you want to sell drills, you should advertise information about making holes – NOT information
about drills!” – Perry Marshall.

The fact is nobody cares about YOUR opportunity. They only want you to solve their problems.

People are looking for ‘holes’ but you keep pitching your drill. The best way to attract your customer is to advertise information about making holes.

Stop cramming your opportunity down people’s throats and LISTEN to what your prospect is trying to say (and also to find out what is their hidden meaning behind their words)

Example: When they say I have no time for this opportunity they might really be thinking, I don’t see this opportunity as being worthwhile for me to invest my time.

Think about it and stop hard selling. Most newbies get too carried away that they mess things up.
