Put Your Face On Your Business Card

March 7, 2007 | By admin | 3 Comments »

When the second time I got involve in MLM (after I quit the company that didn’t pay 3 months worth of bonus check), I was told to get a business card made. Although I was at the time already having a small conventional business based from home, I didn’t think of a need to have a business card. So here I was with this MLM, have to make a business card. I did as told. The card has the typical boring corporate look.I was taught to exchange business cards as one of the way of prospecting. In prospecting trainings, I hear the story of how the presenter got a few customers from her business card.

If I called the people that I exchange the cards with, they seem not to remember me easily. So what I did then, was something different than the rest of the leaders in the organization. I put my face on it. With the new look, when I call people, they easily can remember me. :) So its easier to have a coversation going.

John M. Fogg has a great post on UNFORGETTABLE business cards. I didn’t think that just a simple card with only a name on the card could create so much ‘demand’ for a conversation. You can read his post here.

Adding your face on the card adds a more personalised approach to your MLM target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://gobala.linktrackr.com/attractionmarketing-mlmrkeywords">MLM. It does indeed add to the professionalism there.
