Scratch and Win Gets Banned in Malaysia

Scratch and win seems to be the in thing lately in Malaysia and now 20 direct selling companies have lost their license because of the shady business practice. According to sources complaints have flooded the authorities and measures have now been taken to stop this from happening in the future.

According to the deputy domestic trade office offering scratch and win contests in the direct selling business model in unethical and against the law. Normal businesses can’t be penalized on this as they operate under different rules.

The office urges the public to come forward with any claims they have so that they can follow up on this.

If you are approached with a scheme like this from a direct seller, then please be vary as they only serve to suck unsuspecting people into the vortex of their marketing pipeline.
