Spinning in Circles?

Do you know the feeling when we have so much to do but for some reason we never get anywhere at all? Instead we end up turning in circles feeling totally overwhelmed and the longer we indulge into our own miserable thinking patterns, the deeper we fall into this abyss of helplessness and out of control feelings.

Most humans tend to follow self destructive patterns sabotaging oneself for no obvious reasons. I have often done this myself and in hindsight I was wondering why I did such a silly thing?

I never found the answer, except that sometimes I felt that whatever I set out to do wasn’t worth my time anyway. Often this was simply because of one reason only.

I had the feeling of not being in control because I wasn’t organized. And the more time went by the more I became frenzied and worried about time lost.

This is very much a vicious circle and doesn’t help to look at the problem from a logical perspective. Often when we are out of control our feeling and emotions kick in and logic and reason gets thrown out of the window.

So we start spinning until… well, that depends how serious we are out of control and whether we are facing the issue eventually to change it for the better. The following video by Jack Canfield can help you to put a perspective into your day planning preparation. It will get you back onto the right path by showing you ways to gain better control of our workload. Enjoy
