The Biggest Blunder I made in Network Marketing

I made many mistakes as a newbie in network marketing…
One of the worst mistakes I made was with a prospect. I think I scared the living feces out of him. This was what happened:
An old friend of mine had a guest over from Australia. We live in Malaysia and we wanted to take him around the city. She told me that since she is working tomorrow, why don’t we (my girlfriend and I) take the guest around the city while my friend was at work.
So I agreed. I told myself, hey, it is no harm pitching my opportunity to him so he can have a good impression of Malaysia.
We went for breakfast, and we were ready to head over to the city. My MLM company’s headquarters is in the heart of the city by the way. I told him, “Why don’t you have a look at where I work for a while” He said okay.
Next thing you know, I got carried away sharing my ‘business opportunity’ to him. My upline turned up and started sharing more and more. After awhile, he was shivering and had a blank stare on his way out. He stepped out the front door refusing a ride to the train station, walking away as though he saw a ghost, and never looked back.
I had a bad lashing from my upline that day… I learnt my lesson for sure ![]()
He certaintly had a strong impression on Malaysia for sure…
Lesson: Don’t sell your MLM target="_blank" rel="nofollow" href="http://gobala.linktrackr.com/buildingonabudget-mlmrkeywords">MLM on first contact. Find out more about what the prospect wants first.
