The Red “Miracle” Berry

August 31, 2007 | By Monika Mundell |

I’ve heard a lot about Himalayan Goji Juice. So I went to do a bit of research into this fascinating little berry that ends up as the Goji Juice. Here is what I found in the process.

Goji’s Latin name is [Lycium Barbarum] and Goji is highly effective for promoting optimal health.

What makes Goji extra special is the amount of nutrients it packs

goji.jpg To me the fruit resembles a similar look to the RoseHip

Goji also contains four polysaccharide molecules that makes it stand out amongst other fruits. The interesting fact about these wellness promoting polysaccharides (also known as LBP’s) is that they are not found in any other plant on earth! Now that’s a pretty strong statement to make for a little berry!
Goji’s unique polysaccharide molecules have been identified by FreeLife International as the primary source of the berry’s health benefits.

The term Polysaccharide sounds like a weird language to me and means absolutely nothing. So what does this mean to our health and wellness? Goji’s polysaccharide molecules are acting as master molecules in the body. Synergized together, they serve as directors and carriers of the instructions that cells use to communicate with each other.

Because of these properties they are directly responsible for a smooth cell function throughout our body.
Sound rather like a lot of tech talk to me. I wonder why these wellness companies can’t talk in straight terms with us. We probably need a degree in Medicine and Latin these days to really understand what they are talking about.

This is an excerpt about the Goji Juice ingredients from the GoGoGoji Site.

Benefits of the Goji berry have been described as:

  • Goji helps to assist in the smooth functioning of cells throughout the body*
  • Makes you feel younger*
  • It supports women’s and men’s health*
  • Supports the immune system*
  • Promote cardiovascular health*
  • Support blood sugar levels for those already within normal range*goji2.gif
  • Promote overall energy and stamina*
  • Neutralize free radical damage*
  • It Tastes Really, Really Good

*These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. This product is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

The realization that a little berry like Goji can pack so much goodness is hard to grasp, especially with all that tech gobble de gook. I suppose if I was to actually try the fruit, I might just become one of these believers myself.

Goji products are not available in shops, they can be bought from a FreeLife Distributor
