Why Build Good Customer Relationship?

February 9, 2007 | By admin | No Comments »

If you want a long term stable business, customer satisfaction and repeat orders with you is vital. One reason I can tell you if you done you had build good relationships with your customers, in the future your former customers will become you customers again.

My personal experience:

Today, While waiting my turn to pay my shopping goods, a fellow from behind greeted me. I realised that he was my former customer. We had a nice conversation about everything but business.

At the end of the conversation he told me that he wants to get back on using the products, and he wants to get them from me. He had told me in the past that, he has a colleague in his office that sells the same product as me but he chose me to get the products from.

Now why is that? I suppose I had done a good job at building good customer relationships with him in the past. Now I’m seeing some fruits of my past labor :) .

One tip I can give on this topic is give your customers what they want and be sincerely interested in them AND give them the most positive experience whenever you communicate with them. This also applies with your distributors.

Want to know how to do it? I think this article by Colleen Francis, 9 Steps to Building a Profitable Customer Relationship - may help you out.
